Quick Release Pin for Harken ILCA / Laser XD Vang

NEW DESIGN! Smaller diameter top / handle, metal 'bars' not balls to hold it in place more securely.

This replaces the small clevis pin with split ring or in some cases a bolt and makes removing your vang / kicker for storage or changing it over to another of your Laser / ILCA rigs (mast sections) quick and easy, even with cold and / or wet fingers and with gloves on!

This pin makes it incredibly quick and easy to take your valuable Harken vang / kicker home with you instead of leaving it attached to your mast in the dinghy park.

The advantage of this Quick Release Pin over others is that the Button is mostly recessed, meaning that when you are out sailing it is far more difficult to accidentally press the button to remove the pin and lose your vang /kicker assembly over the side!

Made of stainless steel and aluminium and weighs just 25 grammes! 5.7mm pin diameter, suitable for fittings up to 10mm wide (so you may find other uses, not just ILCA / Laser vang / kicker!).

Comes with the stainless steel split ring.

We recommend rinsing with fresh / tap water after use to prolong the life of the item.
